Spread out a map of the great state of Texas and put your finger right smack dab in the middle. If you lift your finger you'll see where I was born: Brady, Texas. Texas was settled by Germans, Mexicans, Cowboys, Tennesseeans, and southern blacks, and they all brought their own brand of music with them. That very fact enabled me to be surrounded by an eclectic musical mix as a child.

At an early age my family left the ranch and migrated to Ft. Worth, Texas where I was playing clubs on the Jacksboro highway by the age of fifteen. It was at this time that I began writing songs. Since then I have spent a lifetime writing, playing and recording. I have had blues bands, country bands, soul bands,rock &roll bands. You name it, I've played it.

I have been trying for years to bring my style into the studio and come out with an album that truly expresses my feelings. Easier said than done,but I have just finished a new album with John Hill producing. This project includes Gary Craft on guitar,Barry Frost on Drums, Steve Mendell and Justin Baker on Bass, Joe Morales on Saxaphones, Tommy Spurlock on pedal steel and New Orleans' own Joe Olivier on keyboards.
